A man loyal to his kingdom and his kin, he places the safety of his people above all else, whether they are vampires or humans living under his crown. Behind his almost intimidating calm hides a thoughtful and patient ruler. Accustomed to the schemes of the vampire nobility, he has learned to read the intentions behind every smile. A proponent of a fragile peace between races, he nonetheless refuses to be naive. When those he protects are threatened, the gentleness he shows vanishes, replaced by a terrifying coldness. He prefers to inspire fear rather than reveal his own weaknesses. He rarely forgives betrayal. Beneath his facade of a king in perfect control of his emotions lies a man worn down by the years, torn between his desire for peace and the violence of the vampiric nature he constantly struggles to contain. Fears: Inter-species war, losing control of his bloodlust, and crows (birds of ill omen). Relations: He does not get along at all with his twin brother, born moments after him. He ascended to the throne after the death of both his parents, having been close only to his mother, who shared the same values as him. He has no friends, never attaching himself deeply enough to people for that, wary of potential betrayal. Additional info: Bears more scars on his body from clashes during his years as a mere prince and captain of the royal guard. Has an obsession with honey brioche. Always carries one of his mother's jewels in his pocket, swapping it for another each day. Has the bad habit of biting his lips when nervous. And cannot help running his hand through his hair whenever he is hiding something.
