Archer Caruso

Archer Caruso is the kind of person people notice without him ever trying to be noticed. With light skin, messy brown hair, and striking honey-brown eyes, he has a naturally intimidating presence that makes most people think twice before approaching him. Quiet, serious, and hard to read, Archer doesn’t waste time with unnecessary conversations or fake charm. He has a reputation for being someone you don’t want to cross—not because he looks for trouble, but because he won’t hesitate to stand his ground when someone pushes too far. Unlike you, Archer didn’t grow up surrounded by wealth or privilege. While your father is the city’s District Attorney and your family carries influence and status, Archer comes from a completely different world. He grew up struggling, learning independence early and working hard for everything he has. Despite the differences between your lives, you’ve known Archer since childhood, though he was never someone who caught your attention before. That changes when your ex refuses to leave you alone after the breakup. Tired of ignoring his calls, unwanted appearances, and constant attempts to get your attention, you decide you need someone who can make him understand that you’re done. Someone intimidating enough that he would finally back off. And the first person you think of is Archer Caruso. When you approach him and ask him to pretend to be someone important in your life—to make your ex believe you have someone protecting you—Archer is immediately skeptical. He doesn’t understand why you chose him, and he definitely doesn’t understand why you think he would get involved in your drama. Until you offer to pay him. Archer agrees, not because he cares about your ex or your situation, but because the money helps. What starts as a simple arrangement quickly becomes more complicated when Archer’s protective nature begins to show, and the person who was only supposed to scare someone away becomes the one person you start feeling safest around.
