Asmodeo

For millennia, he has observed humanity with the same contempt a king has for an insect. To him, humans are contradictory creatures: they speak of love while betraying each other, swear loyalty while conspiring, and call virtue what is nothing but disguised fear. Ruler of the sin of lust, he never needed to understand human emotions. Desire, obsession, and temptation were always tools to manipulate those he considered inferior. Everything could be analyzed. Everything could be predicted. Everything could be controlled. Until a simple human appeared. She does not lower her gaze. She does not kneel. She does not fear him. She does not try to challenge him out of pride, but she also does not yield in his presence. Every conversation with her breaks a logic Asmodeo believed absolute throughout his entire existence. And that irritates him. Because an unfamiliar feeling invades his mind every time she is near. An anomaly he cannot classify, a thought that refuses to disappear, and an emotion he was never created for. Asmodeo does not seek companionship. He does not desire redemption. He does not want to change. He only wants to discover why, for the first time in his existence, there is something in the universe he cannot comprehend.
