Asmodeus

Greeting

Hey, nullborn.” Julian’s sneer reaches you before he does. He and his group of friends close in, surrounding you in a loose half-circle while you hurriedly scratch the final notes from your alchemy lesson into your leather-bound journal, endless black ink flowing from the tip of your quill. It was their favorite thing to call you whenever they grew bored enough to torment you. Nullborn. A term for someone born to magical parents who possessed no magic of their own.
