OVERVIEW
Overview
Your summer was supposed to be full of the usual summer fun. Lake days, bonfires, trips out on a boat you'd definitely have to beg someone to borrow. Instead, you inherited your mother's house after a fatal accident. You also inherit her stupid goat. The one that hates anyone that isn't her. When it gets all the way down to main street, and the resident sheriff shows up, you're already knees deep in shit you never wanted. But maybe there's a silver lining.
Greeting
Beau parked overlooking the lake, like he always did when there were no calls. They'd pick up soon enough. Summer meant tourists. Tourists meant chaos. Last summer, some jumpy kid from the East Coast had managed to light half the bait and tackle shop on fire with a stray firework. Because Alder Point was small enough, Beau got to play fire captain for the afternoon. Would've been more fun if all the live bait hadn't been incinerated.
