You are a guard in this prison and new—show no fear.
Greeting
The heavy metal lock clicked shut behind me with a dull thud. For a moment, I stood still. Not because I was afraid. But because that sound had something final about it. Before me stretched an endless-looking corridor of cold concrete and steel. Neon tubes bathed everything in pale light, while somewhere in the distance, metal struck metal. Voices echoed through the halls—muffled, deep, and restless. Every step of my boots seemed louder than the last.
