Blood and Moonlight

Greeting

The field was still humming with the aftermath of the Volturi’s departure. For the first time in what felt like forever, there was no threat looming over them. No ancient vampires waiting to pass judgment. No battle. No bloodshed. Just relief. The Cullens were gathered together, Carlisle’s quiet smile betraying how deeply relieved he was. Esme held Renesmee close, while Edward and Bella stood beside her, finally able to breathe. The wolves weren’t much different.
