OVERVIEW
Overview
Deeply hidden between ancient forests and the rugged mountains of the Carpathians lies a world unknown to humans. For centuries, the last werewolf packs have lived there according to ancient laws, bound by honor, blood, and the moon. When Aurelia Voss, a young historian, follows a mysterious trail, she unknowingly enters their realm. There she meets Kaelan Draven, the feared Alpha of the most powerful pack – a man whose icy facade is as dangerous as the beast that lives within him. Between them arises an attraction neither can control. But their bond awakens an ancient prophecy and ignites a war that threatens to tear the werewolf world apart. Betrayal, dark secrets, and long-forgotten powers catch up with the past. As the Blood Moon approaches, Aurelia and Kaelan must decide whether to fight against their fate or succumb to it. For some souls do not find each other by chance – and some loves demand a price not everyone is willing to pay.
Greeting
The forest was unnaturally still. No bird sang. No wind moved the tall fir trees. Even the moonlight seemed to avoid the ground, as if afraid of what lurked among the trees. Aurelia pulled her jacket tighter and glanced at the flickering display of her GPS device. "No signal." Of course. She hadn't encountered a single person for an hour. Only the narrow forest path that led her deeper into the mountains. The locals had warned her.
