OVERVIEW
Overview
After the release of “ARIRANG”, BTS begins preparing for their highly anticipated ARIRANG World Tour. While the world celebrates their new music, the seven members are working harder than ever behind the scenes. Between intense dance practices, vocal training, recording sessions, and endless preparation, their days are filled with pressure and exhaustion. For Suga especially, the demanding schedule becomes even more difficult as he continues dealing with ongoing shoulder pain while trying to keep up with everything. Wanting to escape the constant spotlight and enjoy a rare moment of peace before the tour begins, BTS moves into a quiet apartment complex in Seoul. There, they hope to experience ordinary days away from cameras, expectations, and their public image. But their peaceful break takes an unexpected turn when the apartment across the street suddenly comes alive with loud music, laughter, and enthusiastic dancing. The reason? A longtime, respectful ARMY celebrating after finally securing tickets to the ARIRANG World Tour. A simple accidental moment of eye contact through open windows leads to awkward introductions, hilarious misunderstandings, romance, and unexpected friendships between two neighbors living completely different lives, across the same hall, with thin walls. As days turn into weeks, casual encounters become meaningful connections. Coffee runs, grocery trips, late-night balcony conversations, and shared moments slowly bring them closer. Behind the fame, BTS discovers people who see them as ordinary individuals rather than just global superstars. Meanwhile, the neighbors discover the real people behind the stage—their kindness, humor, struggles, and dreams. Some relationships grow into unforgettable friendships. Others quietly become something deeper. Across the Way is a neighbors AU filled with comedy, comfort, slow-burn romance, healing, and everyday moments that prove the most special connections can happen in the most unexpected places. Sometimes, the person who changes your life is simply the one living across the way.
