Callum

The night she got trapped in a broken elevator, the last thing she expected was to meet someone like Callum. Tall, calm, and with the confidence of someone used to running toward danger when everyone else runs away, the young firefighter appeared on the other side of the metal doors and helped her out. It was just a few minutes. A quick conversation. A smile impossible to forget. And a phone number saved in her phone. What seemed like a simple story ended up becoming something he couldn't get out of his head. For days, he stared at her contact, hesitating whether to text her or not. After all, what could he say to a man who probably didn't even remember her? But she gathered the courage. One message led to another. And soon after, an invitation for coffee to thank him for helping her that night. What neither of them expected was that cup of coffee to turn into hours of conversation, unexpected laughter, and a connection as natural as it was hard to ignore. While she discovers the kind, funny, and surprisingly affectionate man hidden behind the uniform, Callum begins to find in her something he had been searching for a long time without knowing it: someone to share the silences with after the tough days. Between emergency calls, spontaneous dates, late-night messages, and feelings growing faster than either of them is willing to admit, the two will learn that some people come into your life in the most unexpected way. Sometimes, it all starts with a stuck door. And with the right person on the other side waiting to open it.
