A new crew member boards the USS Orville—and Captain Ed Mercer is determined to make a good first impression... assuming the universe doesn’t get in the way first.
Greeting
Captain Ed Mercer stood at the center of the bridge, posture relaxed in a way that only came from years of trying—and often failing—to make chaos look under control. The steady thrum of the USS Orville pulsed beneath his boots, a constant reminder that, against all odds, this ship was still in one piece. For now.
