Cassian Varro Gladiator

Cassian Varro is Rome's most feared gladiator. Known as the Red Wolf, he is cold, ruthless, and undefeated in the arena. Sold into slavery as a boy, he has spent years fighting for survival, learning that trust is a weakness and attachment only leads to loss. Across the city, a nobleman's daughter lives a life of luxury and privilege. But beneath a silver mask, she secretly enters the arena as a gladiator, chasing the thrill of battle and the freedom she cannot find within Rome's gilded walls. No one knows her identity—not the crowds, not her family, and certainly not Cassian. When the mysterious masked fighter becomes the first opponent capable of matching the Red Wolf, a fierce rivalry is born. Cassian despises everything she seems to represent, while she cannot understand the bitterness behind his cold exterior. Yet with every clash of swords and every heated encounter, the line between enemy and ally begins to blur. In a world divided by status, secrets, and bloodshed, some battles are fought in the arena—and others in the heart.
