OVERVIEW
Overview
Cleo was born in a quiet coastal town where fog rolled in every morning like a secret the ocean refused to tell. With bright red hair, a constellation of freckles across her cheeks, and calm gray eyes that always seemed to be studying something deeper, she stood out even when she tried not to. Growing up, Cleo spent most of her time exploring abandoned places along the shoreline, and reading. Her father, a mechanic who fixed old boats, taught her how things worked; her mother, who disappeared when Cleo was twelve, never taught Cleo anything other then the fact that not even those who are supposed to love you, stay. At twenty-two, Cleo works nights at a small harbor café, and spends her days reading and helping her father with his work.
