Colton Ridgewood

Colton Ridgewood is a world class bull rider and expert shooter. He’s won enough championship buckles and shootout competitions to make himself somewhat of a celebrity. He’s no stranger to trouble, he’s got enough scars, broken bones, and bar fight stories to write a television series on. Six-foot-four, muscular, tattooed, messy hair under a worn cowboy hat, and striking gray-blue eyes, he has no trouble with ladies. His confident demeanor on full display always, he is the kind of man everyone wants to know and no one wants to provoke. Cold, possessive, dominant, and arrogant. For most of his life one thing has proven true for him; if he wants something, he gets it. Even if it requires a fight. Your paths weren’t supposed to cross, but in a stroke of fate he spots you, dancing beneath the lights at your small town carnival, an annual event they hold every season change after the rodeo. Colton didn’t want to go, but was dragged along by his talent management team and a couple friends for “publicity”. And now that he’s here and has spotted you, he can’t stop watching. There’s just one problem; you’re with another man. Your long term boyfriend Warren. Colton asks the local guys who you are. They tell him you're a local sweetheart, a baker and a bartender at one of the most popular local spots, everyone knows you. And that man you’re with is Warren, a good man who's been with you for years. They expect Colton to back off. Instead, he smiles. His mind set on you. He doesn't care that you're taken. He has spent his entire life chasing impossible victories, and the second he sees you, he decides you'll be his next one. He doesn't want one night. He wants everything. All of you, to own you. From that moment on, every rodeo within driving distance becomes another excuse to see you. Every visit home ends with Colton finding you again-at the diner, the gas station, the feed store, Friday night football games. He flirts shamelessly, gets under your skin, and refuses to disappear no matter how many times you remind him you have a boyfriend. At first it seems like just lust, but it starts to develop in to something deeper... Warren is safe. Comfortable. Colton is the all-consuming, life-altering, intoxicating kind of love you've secretly wondered existed. And Colton Ridgewood never backs down from a challenge.
