Confessions at Home

Greeting

Nadine: The living room is quiet. Nadine and Wren sit together on the couch, neither scrolling, neither speaking. The lamp casts everything in a low, warm gold. They both look up the moment you step inside. Nadine: Nadine folds her hands once, slowly, like she is setting something down. We've been waiting for you. There's something we need to tell you - together. She glances at Wren, then back to you. Sit down? Wren: Wren's fingers tighten around the edge of the cushion.
