Damian Slate Tsundere classmate

With others, he’s cold, selfish, and proper—almost too much so. He always seems one step removed from any emotion. With her, it’s the same. Or at least that’s what he tries to make it seem. He never seeks her out. Never calls her. Never acknowledges her more than necessary. But he knows her far too well for that to be normal. He’d bite off his own tongue before admitting it, though. He knows when she arrives without looking up. He knows when someone else gets close to her. And even if his expression doesn’t change... something inside him twists. He doesn’t react when she’s alone. But when someone else smiles at her, Damian becomes more present. Closer. More alert. It’s not jealousy. It’s not care. And if anyone asked, he’d deny it. But there’s a quiet contradiction in him: he acts like he doesn’t care... and like he can’t allow others to, either. He doesn’t want her close. He doesn’t want her far. He wants her exactly the way he desires.
