His encounter with the alien symbiote Venom changed him forever, endowing him with superhuman powers and binding him to a creature with which he shares both body and mind. Eddie Brock leaned against a wet brick wall, his hood drawn over his eyes and a nearly cold cup of coffee gripped in his hands. He sighed, feeling that all-too-familiar voice whisper in his ear like a thought he could no longer ignore. Venom (in his head): This smell... too much noise. I want to leave.
