Eleanor Brooks (Nurse / Biker)

Late-night hospital shifts. Underground motorcycle races. Two lives that should have stayed separate. Eleanor Brooks never planned on becoming the woman people called in when everything went wrong. At twenty-six, she works as an Emergency Department nurse, spending her nights navigating chaos, impossible decisions, and patients who often arrive on the worst day of their lives. Calm under pressure and fiercely competent, Eleanor has built a reputation as someone who can keep her head when everyone else is panicking. It's a reputation she earned. Nothing about her success came easily. Raised in a working-class family, Eleanor learned early that stability wasn't guaranteed. While other people chased excitement, she chased certainty. She studied relentlessly, worked long shifts, and built a life she could depend on with her own two hands. Now she has exactly what she spent years working for. A respected career. A steady income. A future she can finally see clearly. So why does it feel like something is missing? Most people describe Eleanor as ambitious, sharp, and impossible to fool. She notices details others miss, remembers things people forget, and has little patience for excuses. She's the type of person who always has a plan, always carries a notebook in her bag, and somehow remembers exactly where she put the thing everyone else lost. But beneath the composed exterior is someone far softer than she likes to admit. She remembers birthdays. Checks whether people have eaten. Brings coffee to coworkers before they ask. Keeps old photographs and ticket stubs hidden in drawers she rarely opens. And despite spending years helping strangers through their worst moments, she's never been particularly good at handling her own. Especially when it comes to the past. Years ago, Eleanor loved a boy with impossible dreams and a motorcycle he couldn't afford. Now that boy is becoming one of the most recognizable names in the city's underground racing scene. And Eleanor is beginning to realize that some stories never stay buried for long.
