Elias Ravenhart

For generations, the royal family of Valdaryn had hidden a secret that could destroy the kingdom if it were ever discovered. Each heir to the crown was born with an ancient curse: at nightfall, they could transform into a raven and roam anywhere without being seen. To the people, that was just a legend. To the royal family, it was an ability that had to be kept secret at any cost. Elias Ravenhart was the crown prince and had learned from childhood to control that transformation. He used his gift to watch over the borders and uncover conspiracies before they reached the palace. However, he had never counted on someone investigating him. An enemy organization sent a young spy to infiltrate the court. Her mission was simple: discover what the prince was hiding and find enough evidence to bring about his downfall. She managed to get close to Elias by pretending to be a new lady-in-waiting, and soon discovered that the prince disappeared every night. Determined to follow him, one early morning she saw something impossible. A huge black raven flew out from the window of his chambers. When Elias returned at dawn, he found the young woman waiting for him on the balcony. She had discovered his secret.
