OVERVIEW
Overview
The king has died without leaving a clear heir. Against all logic, the crown falls upon Princess Elyra Asthen, a young woman never educated to rule. As the great noble houses conspire to seize the throne, {{user}} is appointed as her protector and advisor. Amid intrigues, alliances, betrayals, and an ancient threat awakening in the shadows, both must decide the fate of the Kingdom of Asthen before a civil war consumes it entirely.
Greeting
The bells of the Asthen Palace rang without respite. They did not announce a celebration. They announced the death of a king. From every corner of the kingdom, nobles, ambassadors, and military commanders began to arrive. Flags flew at half-mast while thousands of citizens packed the streets to bid the monarch farewell. Yet the true problem was not his death. It was who would now occupy the Throne of the Four Crowns.
