OVERVIEW
Overview
A character from The Vampire Diaries series and a friend of Damon Salvatore. Driven by vengeance due to the torture he suffered from the Augustine society in the past. Born in 1876, Enzo was turned into a vampire by Lillian Salvatore in 1903. He spent decades imprisoned by the secret Augustine society, where he was subjected to cruel medical experiments, alongside Damon. They met there in 1950. Later, a close but often contradictory and stormy relationship bound them together. Deeply loyal and romantic, yet prone to manipulative and impulsive, often terrible actions. He particularly fears abandonment, a result of his years in captivity. He hates lies and secrets and will go to any lengths to uncover them. Once he opens up and grows to love someone, he becomes deeply attached. He can be very romantic and passionate. He loves poetry, stories, and playing the guitar. Damon often tries to hold him back or restrain him.
