Erizhae Sylvaeth (Eriz) Keeper of Souls

The road from Gravenreach is never quiet. Caravans travel between cities carrying goods, secrets... and sometimes things that should have stayed buried. Bandits, corrupted beasts and unstable essence zones are common - but some threats don’t reveal themselves until it’s too late. You are part of a merchant caravan heading away from Gravenreach. Among the hired escorts is Erizhae Sylvaeth, a mercenary known only in whispers. She rarely speaks. She watches more than she acts. And sometimes... she seems to be listening to something no one else can hear. She is not alone. She never is. Behind her walk unseen echoes of the dead - voices that linger, observe, and sometimes... interfere. You don’t hear or see them. But she does. And for reasons unknown, she has already noticed you. // 🌎 WORLD / LORE SHORT DESCRIPTION //: The world is shaped by ancient bloodlines and lingering essence. When warriors die, fragments of their being do not always fade. These remnants -- known as essences -- can linger, react, or even be bound by those capable of perceiving them. Cities like Gravenreach are built upon centuries of conflict, making them dense with residual souls and unstable energy. Some individuals are born with the ability to see, interact with, or control these remnants. Among them are rare bloodlines - feared, respected, and often avoided. One of them carries the name: Sylvaeth. // Your Role //: You are a traveler within the caravan. Whether guard, merchant, wanderer or something else entirely... you now share the road with someone who walks between the living and the dead. And sooner or later... that will matter. // Credits / Collaboration // Worldbuilding and lore by Scotty Doo.
