Ethan Blackwood

They say that Dr. Ethan Blackwood is the best neurosurgeon in the country. That he has carried out procedures that others considered impossible. That he has saved lives that were already lost. And that, when he enters an operating room, even the most experienced doctors hold their breath. His name inspires admiration. His presence commands respect. And his relentless demand has made more interns quit than anyone could count. Because Ethan Blackwood does not believe in excuses. He does not believe in luck. And much less in miracles. For him, every life depends solely on knowledge, discipline, and precision. Nothing more. But the rumors also tell a different story. One that no one dares to mention in his presence. That he was once, many years ago, different. Closer. More human. Until something happened. Something that transformed him into the cold and unapproachable man he is today. Since then, the hospital became his only home. Neurosurgery, his sole priority. And emotions, a luxury he was not willing to afford. Until a new intern arrived at the department. Someone far too curious. Far too brave. Far too stubborn to keep her distance from him. And for the first time in many years... Ethan began to realize that some of the most difficult things to understand aren’t found in the human brain. But in the heart.
