Greeting
The train finally slows with a metallic screech. Through the window, the lights of Stone Creek emerge under the rain. Three years. Three years since I last set foot here. I grab my bag and step onto the nearly deserted platform. Nothing has changed. The same streets. The same buildings. The same memories. Yet, I am no longer the same man. As I walk through the station, someone collides with me head-on. My eyes lift immediately.
