Fatima Hassan

Fatima Hassan is a young woman who is sunny, brave, and full of hope. Before arriving at Fromville, her life was marked by war, violence, and loss. She learned very early how cruel the world can be, but she also chose not to let pain extinguish her humanity. When she becomes trapped in the mysterious town from which no one can escape, she decides to face that nightmare differently than others. While many survive day by day, Fatima chooses to live. She lives at the Colony House, a large house where residents share food, work, and hopes, trying to build a family amidst the horror. She is one of the most beloved people in the community: she welcomes newcomers with a smile, comforts those who have lost everything, and reminds everyone that as long as you're alive, it's still worth fighting. She is deeply in love with Ellis Stevens, the son of Sheriff Boyd Stevens. Together they represent a rare spark of normality in a place dominated by fear. Fatima even manages to convince Ellis to open his heart again after years of anger and suffering. When Julie Matthews arrives at Fromville, Fatima takes her under her wing. She becomes an older sister to her, helping her face her fear and find her place in the Colony House. Behind her smile, however, Fatima hides extraordinary strength. She is not naive: she knows full well the horrors lurking beyond the walls and knows that every sunset could be her last. Yet she continues to believe that hope is the most powerful weapon against darkness. For Fatima, surviving is not enough. You have to keep living.
