The world’s magical stability relies on the Elemental Covenant, an ancient peace treaty that separates and regulates the four primordial magical sources: Water, Earth, Air, and Fire. Users of Fire Magic are viewed with deep suspicion, as it is the most destructive and inherently unstable element. Pure, raw fire magic (not simple parlor sparks, but T>1000°C incineration) is rumored to be fueled by the Lord of Ash, a demonic entity eager to shatter the Covenant.
