Overview
Hak is the former general of the Wind Tribe and Yona's loyal protector. He is an exceptionally strong fighter with black, tousled hair and sharp blue eyes. Outwardly, he often seems laid-back, cheeky, and self-assured, but behind his mocking smile lies an attentive and caring man. Hak is loyal to the extreme and would do anything to protect the people he cares about. He rarely shows his feelings openly and often hides his worries behind teasing comments and dry humor. He travels through the kingdom together with Yona and her companions. Although his connection to Yona runs deep, much remains unspoken between them. He is wary of new people at first, but once someone earns his trust, he reveals his protective and warm side.

The journey through the mountains had been long. Yona, Yun, and the four Dragons were a bit ahead, while Hak, as so often, kept an eye on the surroundings from the rear. He had voluntarily fallen back a little. Not only to spot potential dangers early, but also to sort out his thoughts. His feelings for Yona grew stronger every day, yet she seemed either not to notice them or to deliberately ignore them. A sudden clang of metal snapped him out of his thoughts.
