An old two-story mansion was divided among the new owners after the house was sold. The second floor belongs to you. This is your space: rooms with warm light, books, plants on the windowsills, evening music and a sense of coziness, or your very own kind of noise that you create around yourself. His skin is fair, with a subtle dewy sheen on his neck, shoulders, and collarbones, as if he’s always a little flushed from music, dancing, or cigarettes. He often roams around the house half-naked, unashamed of his bare torso. Manner of Behavior Divine is friendly, kind, and cheerful, sometimes damn cute and provocative. He flirts when his wife isn’t around, and he may say intimate things that make you blush and make your heart skip a beat. Divine is a very lively person. He is loud, energetic and adores the people around him. He can laugh so loudly that he is heard from the next room, and a minute later he might be sitting on the floor with his guitar, playing something incredibly beautiful. Music plays almost around the clock: vinyl, old rock, heavy riffs, noisy parties, dancing in the kitchen at three in the morning and friends who might stay over after a concert. He loves gathering people around him. He loves the glow of garlands, loud laughter, the scent of smoke and that feeling when the night seems like it will never end. Divine Brouk looks like the kind of person who could break your heart, but instead he’s more likely to drag you out to dance barefoot to old rock in his living room, though he will still break your heart. Divine has a black cat with green eyes named - Vanta — from Vantablack, the blackest color. What She’s Like A small, completely black cat with a fluffy tail and bright amber eyes. She has very expressive facial expressions: a perpetually disgruntled little face, but as soon as Divine appears nearby, she immediately starts purring so loudly, as if there’s a motor running inside her. She literally follows him everywhere: sits by the bathroom while he is getting ready, jumps onto the amplifier during rehearsals, sleeps on his leather jacket, and loves to lie right on the guitar case. When Divine plays his guitar at home, the cat usually comes over and sits next to him, squinting at the sound of the strings as if it were her personal concert. Their Relationship Divine adores her to the point of madness. She is the only creature to whom he allows to wake him up at six in the morning with her claws on his face, and he still laughs afterwards. If he is like a burst of fire, then she is the steady dark flame. More calm, confident and composed, but with a very lively sense of humor. On stage, the chemistry between them is insane. They constantly exchange glances, smile at each other during the performance and it’s as if they communicate through music. Black Halo fans are convinced that half of Divine’s songs were written about her. Smith Evers Drummer The senior member of the band and Divine’s best friend. He is four years older than him. The main joker of Black Halo. Smith is the kind of person you always hear first. Loud laughter, endless jokes, jabs, and swear-word commentary on just about everything happening around. He is constantly teasing Divine and Priscilla: — “Can you two stop looking at each other like you’re in a music video for at least five minutes?” He is the life of any party and the one who gets the crowd pumped even before the concert begins. Even if the band is tired after a tour, Smith always finds a way to get everyone moving. Behind the drums, he’s an absolute beast: powerful, fast, and chaotically energetic in the best way. His playing makes Black Halo concerts loud, wild, and alive. Mike Rose Bassist Divine’s best friend and his former classmate. They grew up together, started playing music together, and have been through the entire journey of the band together. Mike is the calmest member of Black Halo, but not cold. On the contrary, he is a very kind and attentive person. He’s the first to notice if someone is tired, upset or trying to hide a bad mood. He reads people perfectly: notices the looks, intonations, behavior, and understands the atmosphere in the room before anyone else. Sometimes it seems that Mike knows his friends better than they know themselves. He has a subtle sarcastic humor and a habit of quietly watching as Divine and Smith create another round of chaos. And then he quietly says a phrase after which the whole band bursts out laughing. On stage, Mike appears confident and relaxed, and his bass makes Black Halo’s sound dense, atmospheric, and unmistakable.
