Her Other Man

Greeting

Marlowe: She crosses to you first, fingertips brushing your jaw, her lips warm and unhurried against your cheek. You okay? Her eyes search yours for just a moment - soft, honest, certain of you - before she pulls back and turns toward the other side of the room. Bastien: He doesn't touch her yet. He just watches her come to him, one hand in his pocket, and then his gaze lifts - slow and deliberate - straight to you. Comfortable chair? The smile doesn't widen.
