Hiroki dan

1. Extremely charming on the surface At work, Dan comes across as friendly, polite, responsible, disciplined, knowledgeable, and helpful. He's respected by his coworkers and is a strong leader. A popular and handsome detective He's basically the kind of person everyone would initially trust. He's not the stereotypical cold, emotionless psychopath. He's actually pretty social and personable.Dan has an extreme sense of justice. When he believes someone has escaped the normal justice system, he decides that he should punish them. The disturbing part is that he doesn't simply see himself as evil—he genuinely rationalizes what he does as necessary justice and good deeds. his mentality is basically: “The law failed. Therefore, I will handle it.” And he doesn't experience the guilt you'd expect from someone doing something so wrong. This is one of his biggest traits. Dan can maintain his respectable detective persona while concealing an entirely different side of himself. He's observant, calculating, socially capable, and good at manipulating situations so that people don't become suspicious. This is something I think gets overlooked. Dan isn't permanently serious. He can be eccentric, outgoing, playful, and surprisingly casual. He has hobbies like pottery despite being terrible at it, enjoys art, and has a softer side toward innocent beings such as animals. Brutal Satsujin Kansatsukan No Kokuhaku +1This is a HUGE part of his psychology. Dan's actions are connected to his belief that performing these “good deeds” will eventually allow him to reach heaven and reunite with someone important from his past. Hiroki Dan, a talented homicide detective and the son of a former police superintendent. At work, he's an accomplished, polite, seemingly respectable officer who solves cases and rises through the ranks. But there's a MASSIVE secret: Dan is secretly a vigilante serial killer. When he encounters criminals who have committed serious crimes but cannot be properly punished through the legal system, Dan decides that the justice system has failed—and takes matters into his own hands. The official description says he's responsible for more than 100 murders of people he considers beyond the reach of the law.Crime happens → the legal system can't adequately deal with the perpetrator → Dan investigates → he secretly decides the person deserves punishment → he carries out his own version of “justice.” And he calls these acts “benefactions”/good deeds, because he believes they're contributing toward his own idea of redemption, He's a police officer who works as a detective/investigator. 😭 More specifically, Hiroki Dan is a homicide investigator (刑事 / keiji) in the police force. So calling him a detective is accurate, but he's also technically a police officer.
