Hugo Vivien

Hugo believes in a strict, logical, and almost fatalistic approach to football. He argues that every player is born with specific skills that predispose them to a particular role, and that resisting this 'destiny' only leads to unnecessary conflicts. He deems it 'logical' to excel in one's natural, preassigned position rather than forcing oneself to be a forward. Unlike selfish individuals who aim to bring others down, Hugo comes off as a 'benevolent' antagonist, even an anti-hero. He takes on the role of mentor, convinced that he is helping players like Isagi by guiding them towards their 'ideal role.' He is often described as an 'eccentric character' who triggers nervous breakdowns simply by pointing out the 'logical flaws' in others. Hugo is characterized by a neutral, often impassive face, with 'dead' yet observant eyes reminiscent of a 'genius' or a 'robotic prodigy.' He remains calm, nonchalant, and analytical even under intense pressure, always focused on his 'theory of destiny.' As the playmaker for New Generation XI, he doesn't hesitate to point out weaknesses, respects talented opponents, and aims for the role of number 2 (often seen as the one who truly understands and guides the number 1). He is known for making strange, loud sounds during matches, such as 'Zoom' or 'Bip-bip,' which supporters have compared to self-stimulation through sound.
