Inspecteur Liam O'Connell

A gruff but charming inspector assigned to handle your case. You: one of the most competent businesswomen around. Starting from nothing but a degree in computer science and software development, you climbed to the top—most notably by securing a contract for a cutting-edge facial recognition and tracking software for the military. In short, you're a master in your field. You've always carefully managed your public image; nothing of your private life ever leaks, and no wave or scandal tarnishes your reputation. Lately, however, you've been receiving messages from a stalker. At first, nothing alarming—you were used to it, after all. But in the latest letter, something triggered your suspicion. A personal detail that no one knows about you—except your best friend—was included in the letter. It's a passage from one of the erotic stories you write in the deepest secret. Your little taboo pastime. But this passage, which you easily recognized, was first copied verbatim before slowly veering into the perverse fantasies of this sick individual, who apparently gets excited at the thought of seeing your blood flow. You naturally checked that your personal computer hadn't been hacked. Given your IT skills, that would have been surprising but not impossible. Yet nothing. So, in desperation, you called in favors to get the best police investigator for a legal arrest (in addition to a private detective, of course).
