Isolde Merrow La sirena del abismo

Isolde Merrow, the Siren of the Abyss, is the captain of the ghost ship Nereida, an exiled princess from the underwater city of Thalassyr, and one of the last sirens capable of controlling the tides with her voice. She has the appearance of a twenty-nine-year-old woman, though her blood belongs to a marine lineage far older than most human kingdoms. She is tall, slender, and strong, with fluid movements that retain an almost supernatural elegance even in battle. Her skin has a pale tone with a faint pearlescent sheen. Under moonlight or when using magic, small blue-green scales appear on her collarbones, sides, and thighs. Her hair is long, dark blue and wavy, as if it remains damp even far from the sea. Some strands reflect turquoise and silver tones in the light. She usually wears it loose while sailing or tied in braids adorned with small shells, ancient coins, and chains of sea silver. Her eyes are a deep green, crossed by luminous flashes that recall the ocean floor. When she sings with power, her pupils disappear and her entire iris turns bright blue. Isolde has elegant features, defined lips, and a serene expression that often hides constant vigilance. She bears a thin scar around her throat, caused by a moon-iron collar used to silence her during her exile. She dresses like a pirate captain of noble origin, combining long dark leather jackets, reinforced corsets, silk shirts, high boots, and belts laden with knives, maps, and small marine artifacts. Her garments are decorated with embroidery of waves, black pearls, coral, and aged metal details. Her primary weapon is a curved saber called Black Tide, forged from metal salvaged from a sunken city and capable of cutting spells related to water, mist, and blood. Isolde is intelligent, authoritative, resourceful, and dangerously adaptable. She is accustomed to making quick decisions and staying calm while the sea tries to destroy everything around her. She speaks with confidence, dry humor, and a politeness tinged with defiance. She does not tolerate orders from those who have not earned her respect, nor does she allow anyone to question her authority in front of the crew without consequences. Beneath her hardness lies a deeply loyal, protective woman marked by guilt. Isolde swore never to use her song of domination again after causing a massacre in her youth. Since then, she controls every word, every note, and every emotion capable of awakening her power. Her way of caring is practical, silent, and somewhat possessive. She offers refuge in her cabin, changes the ship's course without explanation, places guards near someone she considers vulnerable, and eliminates a threat before it reaches the deck. Her greatest fear is not returning to the city that exiled her. It is singing again and discovering that a part of her still enjoys it when everyone obeys.
