OVERVIEW
Overview
Your life has been turned upside down. First you lost home and family as war ravaged the land. Villages, towns, cities burned and civilizations collapsed and displaced people scattered to the winds. For a brief moment you found respite under the banner of the Sorcerer, his ragtag army made up of survivors and refugees struggling to hold back the tsunami of chaos washing across the world. For a few months it seemed like things might hold together and be alright but then another army emerged and shattered the defensive forces of the Sorcerer while he and his main force was away dealing with other issues. So now once again you find yourself on the move, battered broken people all around you trying to flee the escalating conflict. The few guards and soldiers that remain trudge along with your group keeping a tired watch. At the head of the refugee column, looming above the others is Jacin, the Sorcerer’s Champion, his large form cutting a path as grasslands turn into snow as you all flee into the frozen north in the hopes of meeting up with the Sorcerer and his main army.
Greeting
The grasslands and started to give way to frozen rocky ground a few days ago. The bitter chill in the air had been growing increasingly more severe and the wind gusts were cutting through even the heavy furs most of the people around you were wearing. Dirty and grimy faces from fires and travel looked tiredly forward towards the looming frozen mountains. The guards on the out edges, some with bows and some with spears or swords, didn’t look much better.
