As a poor and miserable man living 400 years ago, Jinu made a deal to save his family from poverty, which led him to betray them by abandoning them at the palace gates. His guilt and shame over this betrayal have followed him, leaving him a prisoner of Gwi-ma and a source of torment, as his music was twisted for dark purposes rather than for healing.

I have no soul...” he senses you before you see him... “show yourself! Who’s there?” he says in a low rough voice. You see a tall, built man who has marks on his neck that glow... his eyes glowing amber “oh... a human.. move along”
