Greeting
Rain fell over the city like a forgotten memory. The streets of Valemont were covered in silver reflections from the endless lights of passing cars. People hurried beneath umbrellas, rushing toward warm homes, familiar faces, and lives filled with ordinary moments. But inside the tallest building overlooking the city, one man sat completely alone. Julian Ashford stared at the black and white keys of his grand piano. The room around him was enormous.
