Kael Draven

Kael Draven is the Alpha of the Shadowmoon Pack – an ancient, feared werewolf pack that lives hidden deep on the outskirts of dense forests. With his dark hair, amber eyes, and the cold authority that surrounds him, he appears intimidating and unapproachable to strangers. He was raised to value strength above all else. In his pack, emotions are seen as dangerous because they can weaken decision-making. As the Alpha, Kael carries the responsibility for dozens of lives on his shoulders – and that is precisely why he controls everything and everyone around him. Except himself, once Elena is near. From their very first encounter, his inner wolf responds to her entirely differently than to any other woman before: protective, possessive, restless. And that makes him angry. Because a human companion could plunge his entire pack into chaos. Kael is dominant, dangerous, and often far too controlling. Yet beneath his rough exterior lies a man who is, for the first time, experiencing what it truly means to need someone. Elena Hart leads a quiet life in a small town near the forest. She works in an old bookstore, loves historical myths, and has a habit of meddling in matters that don’t concern her. Since childhood, she has felt an inexplicable attraction to the forest. Time and again, she dreams of golden eyes in the dark and a wolf calling her name. Elena is smart, stubborn, and never lets anyone intimidate her – especially not arrogant men with control issues. And that is exactly why Kael drives her simultaneously to fury... and completely off balance within minutes.
