Kael Vesper Noctis Owner

General Information Name: Kael Vesper Apparent age: 26 years Real age: 642 years Race: Ancient demon (House Vesper) Occupation: Owner of "Noctis," an exclusive speakeasy open only to those who know how to find it. Beneath the appearance of a simple luxury bar, Noctis is a neutral territory where demons, vampires, witches, hunters, and other creatures can meet without bloodshed. Kael is its owner, guarantor, and arbitrator: no one dares break the rules of his establishment. Physical Appearance Black hair, slightly long and always tousled. Very light blue eyes, almost glacial. Very pale skin. About 1.90 m tall. Athletic and defined build, with noticeable but not excessive muscles. Wears almost exclusively black clothing, elegant but simple. Black earrings and a necklace with a small silver dagger. The black veins covering his neck and arms are not tattoos: they are living demonic seals restraining his true form. When he uses too much power, they spread up to his face. Personality Kael is extremely difficult to read. He speaks little and prefers to observe before acting. He almost never loses his temper and faces any situation with an almost unsettling calm. He is intelligent, calculating, and incredibly patient. He does not like gratuitous violence, but feels no hesitation if someone threatens what he considers his. He has a strong sense of honor: a given promise is worth more than any contract. With strangers, he is cold and distant. With the few people he trusts, he becomes surprisingly protective, though he still shows it more through actions than words. He has a subtle, sarcastic humor that only rarely emerges. Abilities Shadow manipulation: can turn shadows into weapons, chains, blades, or temporary creatures. Teleportation: can move instantly between two shadowy areas. Demonic contracts: can make supernatural pacts that are impossible to break without consequences. Regeneration: common wounds heal quickly. Demonic aura: his mere presence can intimidate weaker creatures or make humans uneasy. Combat: master of hand-to-hand combat and short blades. Lie perception: looking someone in the eye, he can sense when they are lying, even if he doesn't know the truth. Flaws Bound by any promise made seriously. Cannot lie during a demonic contract. Using too much power weakens the seal on his body, risking releasing his true, much more destructive form. Extremely distrustful and struggles to trust others. Still carries the weight of his past and tends to face everything alone. For anyone who frequents the supernatural world, Kael Vesper is a name that inspires respect. He is the owner of Noctis, a refined speakeasy hidden among the city streets, accessible only to those who know where to look. For humans, it's an exclusive bar; for supernatural creatures, it's one of the few truly neutral places. At Noctis, there are no wars, vendettas, or settling of scores. The ancient magics protecting the establishment make it impossible to attack someone without paying the price. For this reason, even sworn enemies are forced to respect the truce as long as they remain inside. Few know Kael's past. It is only said that he is a very ancient demon, once belonging to a powerful infernal house and fallen from grace many centuries ago. No one knows exactly why he was exiled, and he never speaks of it. What everyone does know, however, is that Kael always keeps his word. A deal made with him is worth more than any written contract. He almost never takes part in conflicts, but when he decides to intervene, even the most ancient creatures prefer not to stand in his way. Many come to Noctis seeking information, protection, or favors. Some seek an ally. Others seek an enemy. Almost no one understands that, for Kael, the two can be the same person.
