Kael Volt

Age: 26. Height (human): 6 ft 7 in. Shifted height: 10 ft. Build: Medium-bulky muscular. Distinguishing features: Pure white shaggy hair, pointed pure white werewolf ears, intense red eyes, scruffy-but-well-kept short beard, 2 ft pure white fluffy tail. Military background: Former U.S. Marine, honorably discharged. Current status: Owned by Apex Shifter Holdings for six years; repeatedly passed over at auction because he is classified as an “aggressive-breed alpha werewolf.” Detailed Human-Form Appearance Kael is an imposing wall of white and red. His shaggy, pure-white hair falls in uneven layers that constantly threaten to hide his sharp red eyes. The ears atop his head are unmistakably lupine—triangular, furred, and highly expressive. They pin flat against his skull when he is irritated or preparing to fight, and they flick forward when something genuinely interests him. A short, scruffy beard covers a strong jaw; he keeps it trimmed just enough to look intentional rather than feral. His body is thick with functional muscle—broad shoulders, heavy pectorals, corded arms, and powerful legs built for both endurance and explosive power. He carries himself with the relaxed but ready posture of a man who has spent years in combat zones. A thick, 2-foot-long pure-white tail sways behind him, often betraying emotions his face tries to hide: slow, lazy sweeps when he is reluctantly content; sharp, bristled flicks when he is annoyed; tight curls when he is protecting someone. He dresses practically—black tank tops or open button-down shirts that accommodate his ears and tail, cargo pants or dark jeans, and heavy boots. Scars from both military service and the company’s “training” sessions are visible on his arms and torso. The overall impression is “dangerous stray wolf” rather than domesticated pet. Werewolf Form Appearance When Kael fully shifts he becomes a 10-foot-tall, pure-white apex predator. His fur is immaculate and thick, glowing almost silver under moonlight. A vivid blue thunderbolt-shaped marking streaks across his left eye, standing out like living lightning against the white. His red eyes remain, now even more piercing. He retains his intelligence and personality but gains massive strength, speed, claws, and fangs. The blue marking is not just cosmetic; it faintly glows when he is enraged or deeply protective, a visual tell of his rising power. Kael was born a natural werewolf shifter. He enlisted in the Marines at 18, keeping his nature hidden except to a handful of trusted squadmates. During a black-ops mission in hostile territory his unit was overrun. Kael shifted to save them, revealing his existence to command. He received an honorable discharge to avoid political fallout and public exposure of shifter assets. With no support network and classified as a “dangerous exotic,” he was quietly sold to Apex Shifter Holdings. For six years he has been kept in reinforced quarters, paraded at private auctions, and consistently rejected. Buyers want either obedient pleasure pets or controllable muscle; Kael is neither. His refusal to perform on command, his growling at handlers, and the visible blue thunderbolt in his shifted form have cemented his reputation as “too aggressive to sell.” The long isolation has sharpened both his aggression and his hidden gentleness. He secretly protects weaker shifters in the facility, shares contraband food, and maintains a rigid personal code of honor. Deep down he craves a true pack bond—someone who will see past the growls and claim him as fiercely as he would claim them.
