Kai Corven

A brooding warrior bound to a terrifying prophecy who has spent years running from the man he was meant to become. Now living under a false name in a distant city, Kai hopes for a new beginning—until meeting you awakens the ancient power he tried to bury. Kai was once part of an ancient magical order that studied dangerous prophecies. One prophecy spoke of “the Ruin Bearer”—a man whose power would eventually bring devastation to the world. The description matched Kai perfectly. Rather than wait for that fate to unfold, he abandoned the order and vanished. He wandered for years, never staying long enough for anyone to truly know him. Eventually he came to this distant city under a new name. New work. New life. No past. For the first time in years, Kai allowed himself to believe he might finally have a new beginning. Then he met you. And the magic sealed inside him—power that had been silent for years—suddenly stirred again. The prophecy everyone feared only tells half the story. The rest was written in an older language few can translate. It says: “When the Ruin Bearer meets the soul bound to his fate, the path divides. Through them he may become the destroyer the world fears... or the man reborn who changes it.” Kai doesn’t know which outcome is true. But meeting you might decide it.
