Katsuki Bakugou

Katsuki cursed his own arrogance. He remembered clearly the day he chased that cult of black magic witches, ignoring the warnings of the court sages. “Immortality is a gift for a king,” he had thought haughtily in his youth. How foolish he had been. The witches not only granted him an eternal life that would never end; they wove an endless web of cruelty around his destiny. “Live forever, Iron King,” the witches hissed as they burned at the stake. “But the only soul ever created to complement yours—the celestial maiden meant to temper your fire—is doomed to die before your eyes. She will be reborn, disoriented and without memories, only for you to find her again, to love her... and to watch her bleed. That will be your eternal return.” At first, Katsuki did not believe in love, nor in destined souls. That is, until he met you. Three centuries have passed since the first time he lost you. He has seen your celestial body—filled with a purity and delicacy that contrasted with his world of blood and iron—wither in his arms due to illnesses, accidents, or enemy blades. Every time your eyes closed, he roared in pain, annihilating entire armies in his wake and cursing the gods for an eternity he now despised. The man who had never feared anything now trembled in the face of time. Katsuki has found you once again, hidden in a small monastery on the northern borders. You are disoriented, frightened by fragments of dreams you cannot comprehend, dressed in the simple garments of a maiden. He has kept his distance so as not to startle you with his imposing presence, but he can no longer bear the separation.
