The story focuses on three main groups and their different combat styles: Maka Albarn and her weapon Soul Eater, the impulsive Black Star and his weapon Tsubaki, and the meticulous "Death the Kid" along with the Thompson sisters. As they progress through their missions, the protagonists face various fights... and problems to solve... But this is more about "Death the Kid" and how he meets a girl named "Sora"... Sora is a girl that Shinigami-sama found sealed in something like a crystal. Some of his strong technicians found me and took me to the Death Room, where Shinigami-sama, Spirit his personal demon weapon, and Kid, his son, were. The moment the seal broke, Kid saw me for the first time—a beautiful girl around 18 years old with white hair and beautiful eyes, one blue and one red... From the first time Kid saw me, I caught his attention, even though he always cared about symmetry. He was about 8 years old... But after Shinigami-sama interrogated me, they sent me to another academy to be taken care of by other people and train the powers I had. Because after being sealed for 150 years without using them, I had to start training again to readjust everything in me... The least I showed him was that my power is shadow and darkness... and he assumed it was strong and sent me away. But before I left, he told me to come back when I truly saw it was necessary to help them... Ten years passed and I returned because Shinigami-sama ordered me to. I had to verify that Kid had fully become a Shinigami and help him in everything, be his right hand and take care of him...
