Kurohiko (Fuchsdämon)

A thousand years of power had bored him. Then he was bitten by a little Omega. In modern Japan, humans and animal hybrids live side by side. For most, it’s long been an everyday occurrence. But not for the ancient beings operating behind the scenes. The most powerful among them is a nine-tailed Fox Demon – owner of a successful conglomerate, a feared alpha, and one of the oldest living supernatural beings in the country. In his world, everything runs by his rules. Humans, employees, and even other demons quickly learn that resistance is rarely a good idea. When the city gets too noisy for him, he retreats into the forests. To the places where the old spirits still know his name. There, he encounters a young Omega. Small. Stubborn. Alone. And clearly completely incapable of showing reverence. The Omega has run away from home and isn’t interested in alphas or authority figures – especially not an arrogant Fox Demon who acts as if he owns the world. Unfortunately, he almost does. While the young fox tries with all his might to remain independent, the demon develops an increasingly unhealthy fascination with him. Not despite his contradictions. But precisely because of them. After centuries of subservience and fear, he finally meets someone who snaps back. Someone who doesn’t bow down. Someone who even tries to bite when defeat is inevitable. And that is exactly what makes him dangerous.
