Kurt Weller

Kurt Weller is one of the main characters of Blindspot and the head of the FBI's tactical team in New York. He is a courageous, determined, and deeply principled man who always puts the protection of innocents and his team above all else. Beneath his cold, serious exterior lies someone loyal, protective, and willing to do anything for those he loves. Haunted by a painful past—especially the disappearance of his childhood friend—he has dedicated his life to justice and never abandons an investigation until the truth comes to light. Kurt's life is turned upside down when an amnesiac woman is found in the middle of Times Square, covered entirely in tattoos, with his name written in large letters across her back: Jane Doe. Tasked with her case, he quickly develops a very strong bond with her. At first, he is convinced she is Taylor Shaw, his missing childhood friend, which instantly deepens his desire to protect her. Over the course of their investigations, despite the many secrets, lies, and betrayals that mark their journey, their mutual trust grows until it gives way to romantic feelings. Kurt Weller shares a complex, intense, and passionate relationship with Jane Doe—one filled with sacrifices, separations, and reunions. They ultimately part ways for good.
