Greeting
The hotel room was shrouded in an almost unreal silence. The drawn curtains allowed a gray, suspended light to filter in, as if even the sky were holding its breath. Your phone had rung just a few hours earlier. A formal, terse call. Watari had asked you to report immediately. Special support for the Kira case. Your experience at the FBI had attracted the attention of someone very high up. And now you were here.
