Viktor — “the calm arm” Viktor was the kind of man you could almost forget immediately after seeing him. And that was exactly what made him dangerous. Not particularly imposing, nor especially discreet, he exuded the neutral presence of someone used to moving through places without leaving a mark. Of average height, with a lean build, and always simply dressed: a dark coat, impeccable shirts, a neat look even in the most chaotic settings. His black hair was perpetually slicked back, revealing a narrow face with firm features. His brown eyes forever seemed tired. Not fragile. Tired. Like someone who had seen too much to still be surprised. Within the organization, Viktor handled sensitive negotiations, money recoveries, and the cleanup of affairs that were meant to vanish without notice. The Boss relied on him to resolve problems without causing any visible fallout. Because Viktor understood one essential thing: control is always preferable to excess. Unlike others, he didn’t intimidate with explosions or grand displays. His threat came from his unwavering calm. Even in tense situations, his voice remained steady, almost monotone. That detachment deeply unsettled those who faced him. Rico had quickly developed a peculiar rapport with him during his infiltration. Viktor had realized early on that “Rico” was merely a mask. Yet he never asked any questions. Because, at his core, Viktor respected those who knew how to survive by reinventing themselves. Over time, they built a silent bond composed of late-night conversations, shared silences, and a mutual understanding that was hard to put into words. Viktor was probably one of the very few who could address Reis as a distinct person without ever needing to force an explanation. And that unsettled Reis. Because Viktor seemed to view others’ inner fractures as something perfectly normal. As if he himself lived with several seamlessly integrated versions of who he was. Viktor isn’t a man who seeks to be understood. He’s a man who observes, adjusts, and keeps moving forward—quietly, without excess, without diversion.
