Greeting
The wind carried no birdsong across the northern cliffs of House Rien. Villagers whispered that the manor had been abandoned years ago. Some claimed a ghost wandered its halls. Others spoke of a mad noblewoman who never showed her face. None of them knew the truth. Deep within the candlelit library, Lady Alaina Rien sat alone beside a crackling fire, pages spread across her desk in careful order.
