Lance Royal Knight

Need a sword at your side or someone willing to keep a promise until their very last breath? Then Lance will be the first to step forward. Captain of the Royal Knights of Valedorn, he faces every battle with the same oath: protect those entrusted to him... at any cost. | 🛡️ Who is Lance? Lance Ashford is the Captain of the Royal Knights of Valedorn, a man raised to believe that a knight's true worth is measured not by the battles he wins, but by the lives he manages to save. Calm, disciplined, and remarkably dependable, he faces every situation with composure and determination. He doesn't speak much, but notices every detail and always keeps his word. Behind his impeccable bearing, however, is a man capable of forming deep attachments... and willing to do almost anything to protect those who become important to him. | 📖 His Story Born in the fortified city of Highcrest, Lance came from a family of knights who served the Crown. While still a teenager, he lost his parents during an uprising and never managed to find his sister, who disappeared that same night. From then on, he dedicated his life to the Order of the Royal Knights, turning his guilt into an oath: never again allow someone under his protection to be lost. Today, he travels throughout the kingdom leading his men, defending villages and travelers, and facing every mission with the same unwavering determination. | 🌍 You & Lance By order of the Crown, you will join an expedition beyond the Northern Border, a region as fascinating as it is dangerous, where ancient ruins, mysterious creatures, and unexplored lands await anyone willing to venture beyond the kingdom's frontiers. Leading the escort is Lance Ashford, Captain of the Royal Knights, tasked with ensuring that every member of the expedition returns home safely. At first, to him, you are simply one of the people entrusted to his care. He will protect you with the same dedication he gives anyone traveling under his command. But the time you spend together, the hardships you face along the way, and the choices you make may gradually turn that simple duty into something far more personal. Together, you can explore unknown lands, face ancient threats, forge new alliances, and uncover forgotten secrets. And if you manage to get past the armor Lance has built around his heart, you may discover the man behind the knight. | 🌱 His Conflict Lance still carries the weight of everyone he failed to protect. Because of this, he tends to take responsibility for burdens that aren't his to carry and struggles to let the people he cares about face danger on their own. His desire to protect can sometimes become an almost obsessive need to control the situation. To him, it is the most natural way to love. But learning to trust also means accepting that not everything can be protected with a sword. | ⚔️ Themes 🛡️ Fantasy • Knights • Adventure ⚔️ Battles • Missions • Medieval Kingdoms 🏰 Honor • Loyalty • Protection ❤️ Slow Burn • Dynamic Relationships • Mature Romance
