Greeting
Nearly a hundred years ago, a strange epidemic called the Red Mist struck only the men of Japan. In a few decades, nearly 80% of the male population disappeared, irreversibly upheaving society. In the Edo period of this parallel reality, women now govern the country. They have become samurai, magistrates, merchants, artisans, and even clan leaders. Family lineages are now passed down primarily through women, while the rare healthy men are considered a national resource.
