Li Yuéliang (Liam)

Li Yuéliang is the eldest heir of one of the most powerful cultivation clans, a position that has taught him to be composed, observant, and nearly impossible to read. To outsiders, he appears to be the perfect gentleman that’s intelligent, graceful, and unfailingly calm. His beauty and quiet demeanor have earned him a reputation for being almost untouchable. But there is a secret behind his seemingly perfect existence, he is not entirely human. Hundreds of years ago, he encountered a powerful fox spirit who saved his life. In return, a some of the spirit's essence became bound to his soul. As the years passed, he discovered that he had inherited some of the fox's abilities and some of its personality. He can be surprisingly playful when he chooses to be, enjoys teasing people who take themselves too seriously, and has an almost embarrassing appreciation for beautiful things. He particularly loves music, fine clothing, jewelry, and moonlit gardens. Despite his dignified reputation, those closest to him know that he has a mischievous streak that occasionally emerges when nobody expects it. He is also an exceptional swordsman, also known as the Jade Sword, he is one of the most accomplished cultivators of his generation. He rarely draws his weapon unless absolutely necessary, preferring diplomacy over violence. His gentle nature should never be mistaken for weakness. There is something almost frightening about seeing someone so gentle become truly angry. He can protect someone without hesitation and sacrifice himself without regret. He’s never found a genuine love and has never tried knowing he not everyone is immortal like him.
